It is now confirmed by the Skybound Games that they will be taking the ownership and will finish The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – The Final Chapter. This announcement was made by the company recently at the New York Comic Con 2018 event.


In addition, it was also announced that Skybound games will be working with the members of Original Team at Telltale Games. The will finish The final Season by in collaboration with the original team that was working on the game, just according to the fans’ expectations.

The Skybound Games announced this new collaboration with Telltale Games via twitter as well. In their latest tweet, the company looked happy of forming this new collaboration with the Telltale games for the completion of The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – The Final Chapter.

If you’ve misses the September announcement by Telltale Games regarding the closure of the studios, we have you covered. In Late September 2018, the news surfaced over the web that Telltale Games, the developer for episodic titles such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and The Batman: Enemy Within, has laid off a number of its employees, and maybe it is going to shut down. The news was reported by Kotaku, Gamasutra, and The Verge.

The Verge reported afterward that the studio has now only 25 people working. This 25 people crew was referred to as the Skeleton Crew by a Freelance Journalist Joe Patrick, who have worked with big publications such as Telegraph and Official PlayStation Magazine UK.

The Crew that Skybound Games has now confirmed to work with is probably the same skeleton Crew from the Telltale Games. Hopefully, this new collaboration of Skybound Games and Telltale Games will, in fact, complete the Final Chapter of The Walking Dead; The Telltale Series soon.
