Square Enix has finally fulfilled their promise to release The Last Remnant Remastered on a PlayStation console. Previously the developer and the publisher Square Enix promised to the fans that The Last Remnant would one day come to PlayStation 3. However, that didn’t actually happen to the fans’ disappointment. But, now 10 years later, this Xbox 360 exclusive is set to launch on PS4 as an exclusive title.
Though, The Last Remnant Remastered proved to be a massive flop in the past on Xbox 360. It actually later gained all its glory with the PC version. The game garnered a not so big but loyal fan base and that eventually led Square Enix to make a new PS4 version of the game. The studio has now announced that The Last Remnant Remastered will launch on PS4 on December 6th this year.
Moreover, the developer has also released a teaser trailer for the game. In the trailer, we can clearly see the ultimate difference in graphics and the game engine. Fans will have a little bit different look and feel of the game, but the story remains the same. Players will enjoy fighting to save the country built on the mysterious runes called Remnants.
Although the game comes from the Final Fantasy bloodline, you won’t find any similarities to it at all. The Last Remnant Remastered is a game set in a bleak world, totally different than any in the FF series games.
All the PlayStation 4 fans will now finally have a chance to enjoy this marvelous game on their consoles. Despite all the previous failures of the game on Xbox 360, it is widely speculated that the PS4 version of the game will top the charts soon after its release on December 6th, 2018.
