Pakistan Independence Day 2018 to Be Celebrated with a New Hope

Pakistan Independence Day 2018

The Independence Day for Pakistani people is one of the most joyous days of the year. It’s when the country got its independence from the British rule in 1947. With only one day to go, the preparations for the Pakistan Independence Day 2018 are also gearing up all across the country. It is the 71st independence day of the country. There are flags all across the country on buildings and houses of the people.

The day will start with prayers in the Mosques in the morning for the country’s safety and security. This year, however, it will be a bit different. Instead of Islamabad which is the capital of Pakistan, the Flag Hoisting ceremony will be in Lahore. The main ceremony will be at the Hazoori Bagh near the Lahore Fort. There will be school children and all the other officials present at the ceremony.

Just like every year on the Independence Day, 14th August will be a national holiday across the country. Google also displays the national flag of Pakistan on the official search engine page. Google changes the logo at midnight when the day starts with fireworks all across the country.

In his official tweet, the to-be-elected Prime Minister Imran Khan said, “I want all Pakistanis to celebrate 14th August, our Independence Day, with full fervor, especially as we are now moving towards Naya Pakistan & reclaiming Jinnah’s vision InshaAllah.”
