505 Games have announced that the Overkill’s The Walking Dead has now entered its Closed Beta. The Closed Beta for the game features Overkill’s The Walking Dead first two missions as well as two Camp Defense scenarios. More new features will be introduced in the game on it’s full and final release on November 6th, 2018.
The Closed Beta for Overkill’s The Walking dead starts today on October 9, 2018, and it will remain available until October 22nd, 2018. The closed beta is divided into three main parts. Players can gain access to the closed beta by pre-ordering the game via Steam for PC. All the players who will buy the game’s Standard Edition will have a single invite. However, the players who will pre-order the games Deluxe Edition will get four different closed beta keys. These keys will be sharable with friends. Additionally, all the Pre-orders will include the Overkill Cosmetic Skin pack as a bonus.
According to the Overkill’s The Walking Dead brief overview by 505 Games, the game is highly inspired by Robert Kirkman’s original graphic Novels. The game offers a four-player Co-op and Action video game that requires the players to band together to complete various in-game missions and raids. The ultimate purpose of the game is to find the survivors while securing supplies and staying alive.
Overkill’s The Walking Dead offers various stealth and enemy evading tactics with which players will be able to evade the enemies, dismember the dead walkers using brute force and immense firepower available at their disposal. In addition, all the four in-game players’ characters have their own unique and special abilities, skill trees, squad roles, background stories, and individual play-styles.
The PC version of the Overkill’s The Walking Dead is due out on November 6th, 2018. On both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the game will launch on February 6th, 2019 in both the North American and European regions.
