Nintendo Switch System Update 6.0.1 is Now Available, Offers System Stability Improvements For Enhanced User Experience

Nintendo has finally released the new Nintendo Switch System update version 6.0.1 for the hybrid console. The new update offers system stability improvements and some technical issue fixes.


According to Nintendo, in order to offers enhanced easiest and most user-friendly experience and system improvements, Nintendo continuously makes solid efforts. As part of those efforts, Nintendo releases Switch system updates that are available to download via the Internet. This new update 6.0.1 is in fact, part of Nintendo’s same efforts.

Nintendo has also said on their official website that for most of the Nintendo owners, the new updates will install automatically. All these updates will install automatically while the Switch unit is connected to the internet. In case, if someone is failed to get the updates installed automatically, they can simply install the updates via the system settings menu. All the owners will have to do is to navigate to the System Settings menu and install the desired updates.

In rare cases, where the Nintendo Switch owners completely fail to download the updates via both the Automatic and manual procedures, they should restart their consoles. This will resolve the issue completely.

As part of the new Nintendo Switch System update 6.0.1 the following system stability improvements are offered.

General System Stability Improvements – To Enhance the User Experience

  • Resolved an issue where internet connection test does not display correct results for download and upload speed
  • Resolved an issue where some licensed controllers’ motion controls such as tilt function respond incorrectly

The Internet Connection test issues has been surfacing over the web after the last update. Thanks to Nintendo, the owners will now not be facing these issues anymore. They will now, in fact, be able to see how much of the data they have uploaded or downloaded on what speeds.

Similarly, a big number of Nintendo Switch users complained about some licensed controllers motions control issues. This particular issue have been especially addressed. Hopefully, the fans will not have this specific issue with their licensed controllers for Nintendo Switch.
