Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition by Team Cherry has finally been given an official release date. The much-awaited Action-Adventure and Metroidvania title is set for a September 25th release date this year. The developer has just announced the game will be available on both PS4 and Xbox One after its release.

In addition, Team Cherry has also announced that the pre-orders for the PS4 version of the game are now open. PlayStation Plus fans who will pre-order at the earliest will have a lavishing 20% discount on the purchase.

According to the dev, the physical version of Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition will be hitting the markets worldwide in Spring 2019. So, the fans will have the digital version before the physical version.

Moreover, the developer has announced that the Voidheart Edition will include four additional DLCs along with the Core game. The new DLC packs include Godmaster, The Hidden Dreams, The Grimm Troupe, and Lifeblood. However, there is no official confirmation on the exclusive content for the game.

As the official exclusive content isn’t announced nor has it been revealed by the publisher, so it seems that the fans will have to wait for it a little bit longer. It is possible that the exclusive content will be released just after the game’s debut.

From September 14th, 2018, fans will be able to pre-order Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition. So far, the studio hasn’t yet announced the price of the game. It is also speculated that the game’s price tag for both PS4 and Xbox One will be shown on the pre-order dates.

Earlier this year, the Hollow Knight was released on Nintendo Switch for $15 with the four additional DLC packs. Fans are hopeful that it will be available on both PS4 and Xbox One on the same rates.

The last downloadable content pack was launched on PC, Switch, and Linux last month. It was initially named Gods and Glory but was changed to Godmaster later on. Fans are hopeful that this will not happen again with the next DLCs.
