Fortnite Servers Are Down

Its September 27, 2018, and as the yesterday’s message from Epic Games suggested, Fortnite Servers are down at the moment. This is a routine maintenance server closure. In addition, the Fortnite servers are down for the latest update v6.00. The new update is bringing in a heavy mass of new content to the game and is one of the biggest ones till date.

According to Epic Games recent message, the servers were scheduled to go offline at 4:00 am ET. This simply means that the servers are currently down. However, the Fortnite servers may remain offline for several hours as the new update is said to be a massive one. However, the size of the update may differ from platform to platform.

The new update will be available to download on all major gaming platforms such as PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Once the servers are online, fans will be able to download the update v6.00.

As the Epic Games previously said, the servers can stay offline for several hours depending on the time the update is going to take. So, we know when the update procedure started but we don’t know when the servers will get back online. Additionally, because this update is quite big as compared to the last ones, fans can also face serious server disruption throughout the globe.
