Five-Alarm Fire Burning At Farmers Market In Townsend, Delaware

A fire broke out overnight at Willey Farms on the 4000 block of Dupont Parkway. It was a five-alarm fire which broke out at around 2:30 am on Monday at a popular farmers market in Townsend, Delaware.


Route 13 is closed in both directions at Willeys Drive because of the fire. Scanner report indicates that due to the size of the fire, the crew may have been experiencing water issues. Fire companies from Maryland and Dover have been called in to assist.
