Corpse Party: Book of Shadows and CP: Blood Drive Launch Announced On PC, Localized PC Version of Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash Coming To West Only

The publisher Xseed Games has announced three new Corpse Party Games for PC. The Corpse Party: Book of Shadows and CP: Blood Drive are confirmed for PC. Additionally, previously the Japan-only title, CP: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash localized version will also be released in the West only.


The Xseed Games has already announced CP 2: Dead Patient for PC. It is also now confirmed that the CP: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash will release with CP 2: Dead Patient.

The PC version of Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is set to release on October 29th this year. Shortly after, the CP 2: Dead Patient and CP: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash will make a debut during the winter season. The Corpse Party: Blood Drive is expected to launch after that.

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows

As the overview of all these games by Xseed Games suggests, CP: Book of Shadows previously made a debut back in September 2011 in Japan. An iOS version of the game was also released later in 2013. The game is a unique follow up of the critically-acclaimed Corpse Party which is a horror cult hit. The game offers a blend of horror-adventure and visual novel elements. It mainly based on a series of short horror stories.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive

CP: Blood Drive was originally released in July 2014 on PS Vita for Japanese audience only. The North American and European versions of the game came out later in October 2015. Both the Android and iOS versions of the game were released in February 2017 in NA and Japan. It’s the final installment of the critically-acclaimed horror story that started with Corpse Party. It later continued in CP: Book of Shadows. The game allows players to explore the Heavenly Host Elementary with 3D graphics. It also includes all of its 2D environments with expansions.

Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash

This title was previously released on PSP in Japan only on August 2012. It mainly a romantic spin-off of the CP series. The game features Sachiko Shinozaki in the game who is a ruthless murderer and goes on a killing spree of students and superiors featured in the previous games. She throws herself a huge birthday party, where she invites all her victims.
