Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 exclusivity on PS4 will be just for a week, Activision has just confirmed. According to the publisher, it is now confirmed that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Post-launch DLC content will debut on PS4 prior to the launch on Xbox One and PC.
As compared to previous exclusivity time for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Activision has offered a very short window. Specifically for the COD: BO4, the publisher has announced that the game will, in fact, be exclusive for only one week. So, it’ll only have a one week head start on both PC and Xbox One. The playable post-launch content will also remain exclusive for a week. This content includes all the seasonal events, all the new specialists, and the new multiplayer maps.
However, only the Nuketown Multiplayer map will be launched in November on all platforms together. Some new Specialists will launch late in December 2018. The exact release dates for Nuketown multiplayer map and specialists (set to launch in December) are yet to be announced.
All the fans who want to pre-order the game for Xbox One and PC will be able to do just that in the same week, the game will be exclusive on PS4. So, this doesn’t hurt much at all as the players will have plenty of time to pre-order the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set for a launch on 12th October 2018. It will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All those fans who want to pre-order the Deluxe or the Digital Deluxe editions of the game, they can get a head start on game’s multiplayer by using the in-game COD Points.
