Bethesda revealed more details about Fallout 76 in the QuakeCon 2018. The upcoming game is the ninth game in the Fallout series and serves as a narrative prequel to the series. To keep you up to date, here is all the information we know about the game until now.
Who’s the Developer?
The developers, Bethesda Game Studios who bought you both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls are developing Fallout 76.
What type of Game is it?
According to the statements by the developers, it will be a 100% online game. The players can also play it solo. You can play it with other players or join friends to play together.
What about the Servers?
The developers say that at the launch time the game will only have public servers. But later on, the game will add private servers too.
The Game World
According to the developers, the game world is four times larger than Fallout 4. The players will explore six regions. Each region has its unique features, risks, and rewards. The players will also find new creatures in each region. Some of these creatures have a West Virginian folklore origin.
What can the Players do?
When in the game, the players will try and complete the quests assigned to them. The game does not have any human non-players. All the non-players will be collectibles, robot NPCs, recordings, etc. The players can build worlds and also destroy worlds. The players can also select an area on the map and can choose the villains and heroes in the game as well.
As a player whenever you complete a quest or level up, the SPECIAL increases. S stands for Strength, P stands for Perception, E stands for Endurance, C stands for Charisma, I stands for Intelligence, A stands for Agility and L stands for Luck. As the game progresses, the player gets these powerups.
Fallout 76 is scheduled to be released on November 14, 2018, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
