Battlefield 5 Delayed, New Release Date for EA’s Marvel Revealed

Battlefield 5 New Release Date

Battlefield 5, probably one of the most sought after game of 2018 has been delayed. The publisher, Electronic Arts, has confirmed that the game will be releasing a little bit later than previously expected.

According to EA, Battlefield 5 will now be releasing on November 20th instead of the previously revealed date of October 19. It’ll be launching on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on the same date. EA has confirmed the new release date for the game in an official statement. So, there is no doubt that the game will take a little bit of extra time to finally come out.

According to the publisher, this will, in turn, give the developer DICE some more time to develop the game. Hopefully, this will also fine tune the game for an awesome experience.

According to EA;

We’re going to take the time to continue to make some final adjustments to core gameplay, and to ensure we really deliver on the potential of [new Battlefield live service] Tides of War,” wrote DICE General Manager Oskar Gabrielson. “We know moving the launch date means that we all have to wait a little longer. But we’re going to take our time to make sure we get it right.

It might seem a little bit confusing to some of the Battlefield 5 fans, but as EA pointed it out, hopefully, this delay will make the game a little bit better.

Battlefield 5 was previously set for a release on October 19. This means that the fans will have to wait for almost a month before it releases. This also indicates that the game will release after the release of RDR2 and some other big titles set for release. Some big games such as Hitman 2 and Fallout 76 are also releasing prior to Battlefield 5.

One of the biggest rivals of Battlefield 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is releasing on October 12. This makes fans a little bit less excited, but it might come out fruitful.

EA has also confirmed the release dates for the Battlefield 5 Open Beta. As planned, it’ll be releasing on September 6th, 2018. Check out more about the Battlefield 5 Open beta here.
